
Mediation in front of the Environment Appeals Board
The Environmental Appeals Board ("Board") provides an opportunity for parties to appeal certain decisions made by Alberta Environment and Protected Areas. In this session, Mr. Gilbert Van Nes, the Board's General Counsel, will provide a helpful overview of the mediation process before the Board which plays a crucial role in resolving disputes without going through the Board's formal hearing process.
