Synopsis
We intend for this meeting to involve a presentation by a practicing aboriginal law lawyer regarding past work in the area of intellectual property law, as well as presentations from an indigenous elder and indigenous artist and their experiences with cultural appropriation. There may also be a professor speaking on ethics as it relates to cultural appropriation and the law.
