Synopsis
Wills and estates, like family law, is well-suited to the provision of unbundled legal services. Join us for a panel discussion on how to incorporate unbundled or limited retainer legal services into your wills and estates practice. This session will help you give clients value even where your services are limited, including assisting clients with probate applications, helping clients decide whether to make a will, and providing tips on navigating the legal system.
Nicole Garton of Heritage Law advises on all aspects of estate planning and administration including the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements and trusts, as well as applications for probate and letters of administration. Nicole is the former Chair of the CBA Wills and Trusts Subsection (Vancouver).
Sonali Sharma started Athena Law because she saw a need for affordable unbundled legal services, particularly in the areas of Family (out-of-court) and Wills and Estates practice. Outside of work, Sonali is actively involved with the Access Pro Bono Wills Clinic.
