Synopsis

Have your best mediation skills failed with some clients? Despite your best efforts, are some mediations impossible? High conflict disputes are different. They often involve one or more individuals with a pattern of high conflict behaviour, characterized by all-or-nothing thinking, unmanaged emotions, extreme behaviour, and preoccupation with
blaming others.

Michael Lomax presents on 10 key principles for mediating high conflict disputes. These principles are designed to help mediators become more comfortable working in challenging situations and supporting clients to remain in mediation, stay calm, and resolve their disputes.
