Synopsis
Aaron Hofman provides an overview of fur farming in Canada, highlighting the animal welfare, environmental, and public health concerns of the practice. Aaron focuses on the scale of the Canadian fur farm sector and the regulatory framework. As there are prohibitions on fur farming in numerous countries, Aaron discusses Canada in the broader international context, exploring ways for Canada to join the international community and move this practice into the past.
