Synopsis
As we head into planning for next year and beyond, we invite all Section Executives to join us for one of three sessions to discuss:
Succession Planning – How do we balance experience with ensuring the next generation of Section execs are ready to take over? Looking for input on the nomination process, elections and term limits.
Regional Engagement – How do we ensure that members from outside Vancouver feel engaged in the planning and participation of Section meetings? Looking for input on regional representation on Section executives and other opportunities for engagement.
Profile Building – What opportunities are Section members seeking to build their profile within the legal community and beyond? Looking for input on showcasing members through speaking opportunities, BarTalk articles, Practice Coaches and any other ideas you have.
Bonus! New Non-Member Attendance - What concerns, if any, do you have about people attending Section meetings who are not eligible for CBA membership (i.e., not a lawyer, judge, articling student or law student)?
We look forward to discussing these wide-ranging topics. Please register for one of the three sessions.
