ONLINE MEETING: From Model to Marginalized: Managing Performance and Accommodations in the Workplace

Synopsis

Nazanin Panah, Navpreet Chhina, and Jim Wu discuss practical approaches to addressing the duty to accomodate, while taking into account policy considerations such as masking and intersectionality. Discussion topics include recent tribunal decisions, potential roadblocks employees face when asserting protected grounds and/or seeking accommodations, as well as issues employers may face when balancing accommodation, inquiry and privacy concerns.
