Synopsis

Immigrating to a new country is a life-changing decision. Immigrating to Canada as a lawyer or law graduate requires accreditation through the National Committee on Accreditation (the "NCA")  and completion of the provincial/territorial Law Society admission program ("LSAP") to be able to practice law in Canada.

Eric B. Clavier, Edmundo P. Guevara, and Wanessa Oliveira discuss their personal journeys with the NCA and licensing process followed by the regulator's perspective from Lesley Small.
