IN-PERSON MEETING: Proposed Amendments to the Land Act and Case Law Update

Synopsis

Alexandra King reviews the latest developments surrounding proposed amendments to British Columbia’s Land Act. Brogan Pastro summarizes and comments on a recent decision from the Federal Court, Haida Tourism Partnership (West Coast Resorts) v. Canada (Ship-Source Oil Pollution Fund), 2024 FC 439, in which the plaintiff appealed an order that struck their Statement of Claim without leave to amend.
