2:30-3:30pm |  Wills for Blended Families and Testamentary Capacity
Estate planners increasingly face two competing challenges, namely blended family considerations and client capacity. With the increasing number of blended families, prudent estate planners need to know the tools available to them to provide clients with tailored estate planning advice and services for matters including will variation risks, the benefits and pitfalls of alter ego or joint partner trusts, and questions about capacity and undue influence come into play. This presentation will provide insight on best practices when advising clients facing these challenges.
