ONLINE MEETING: Evidentiary & Ethical Issues in Workplace Investigations

Synopsis

Sharon Cartmill-Lane, David Juteau, and Nicole Price use a case scenario to shed light on important evidentiary and ethical issues in investigations.

The panel also discusses potential issues including use of similar fact evidence, drawing adverse inferences, questions around confidentiality and issues of defamation, concerns around re-interviewing witnesses in a trauma-informed context, and the use of circumstantial evidence.
