Synopsis

Associate Judge Shadowing is back!

The Young Lawyers Sections host two-day Associate Judge Shadowing Sessions in Kamloops, New Westminster, Vancouver, and Victoria. All new lawyers, articling students, and law students are welcome.

Attend an informal dinner with Associate Jennifer Keim of the Supreme Court of British Columbia to review matters going forward the following day. During the shadow day, attend as a fly on the wall to learn the do's and don't's of attending Chambers. This is an opportunity to expand the tools in your toolkit, and develop your litigation skills for future applications.

The Associate Judges will lead a debrief at the end of the day, giving attendees the space to ask their questions and gain deeper understanding of decisions made throughout the session.

Registration is limited. Registrants are required to be available for the dinner, along with the selected Shadowing Session date.
