Synopsis
Greg DelBigio KC and Jamie MacLaren KC delve into the issues related to a single regulator for lawyers, notaries, and paralegals under the Legal Professions Act. Greg and Jamie share their views on the implications of this new legislation for access to justice and the independence of the bar, and discuss the constitutional challenge brought by the Law Society of British Columbia and the BC Trial Lawyers Association.
