Legal Data Resources (Manitoba) Corporation (aka LDRC) is a not-for-profit corporation established by the Law Society of Manitoba, to advance the use of computer technology for the legal profession, the Courts, and other government departments in Manitoba.
The participants will describe LDRC's E-Filing system mandated by the Court of Queen's Bench for use by lawyers in CCAA and Judicial Review applications and demonstrate PDF document preparation for Queen's Bench filings. E-Filing Document preparation to be demonstrated will include bookmarking and hyperlinking. They will also demonstrate the E-Filing Portal and the use of digital signatures which are required in the E-Filing process. A discussion will follow concerning the possibility of expanding the E-Filing system to include probate and other matters.
