Join us for an exciting opportunity to network and learn from a panel of experienced professionals speaking about adjudication and investigations in the animal law realm.

• Rae Legault, Chair, Animal Care Review Board, on adjudicating matters as between animal custodians/owners and the Ontario SPCA;
• Connie Mallory, Chief Inspector, Ontario SPCA, on overseeing investigations by agents and inspectors in light of the current statutory framework;
• Rob McKinney, Deputy Director, Ontario Racing Commission, on investigative and adjudicative  considerations as they relate to the horse racing     industry;
• Lesli Bisgould, 2013/14 Adjunct Professor, University of Toronto, on balancing an animal rights philosophy with the limitations on bringing matters to the adjudication stage.

Aside from animal law content, this session will also be relevant to practitioners in the areas of administrative, criminal and quasi-criminal law, as well as of interest to academics, investigators, and students in related disciplines.
