Experienced practitioners from the legal, accounting and engineering fields will delve into the many issues involved in effectively dealing with contaminated sites, including:

  • Legal and engineering difficulties in buying, selling and mortgaging contaminated lands;
  • Accounting issues involved in valuing a contaminated site and expensing its remediation; and
  • Proper description of and allocation of risks between stakeholders.
