13th Annual Franchise Law Conference
End of Innocence: The Arthur Wishart Act Comes of Age
Franchise Law | 8:45 am - 4:50 pm (Followed by reception)

Now in its 13th year, this highly regarded conference will cover the most recent developments in franchise law with a special focus on the growing pains and rites of passage of the Arthur Wishart Act as it comes of age. Our expert faculty of speakers will discuss specific sections of the Act, how they are applied, and what you have to do to make sure that you are in compliance.  Hear about the latest cases and legislative changes and learn how to handle the ethical issues that arise when you are involved in negotiating and settling a franchise matter.  A variety of workshops will cover critical topics including:

  • How to protect your franchise system from web and social media abuse
  • Franchise rescissions and complex transactions
  • Implementing widespread system change in the franchise network
  • Pros and cons of suing a franchisor's associates, brokers and agents

A reception will follow.
