Vu, the Supreme Court of Canada reaffirmed its position recognizing that important privacy issues are raised under S.8 of the Charter with respect to information stored in a computer or mobile phone.   Hear from an expert panel of speakers about the distinctive privacy concerns raised by computer searches, the appropriate search protocols, why and when bifurcated search warrants may be required, and whether there is a distinction between computer and Smartphone searches.
