OBA Young Lawyers Division (East) PROGRAM | Original Program Date: April 27, 2017

The Law Society of Upper Canada encourages lawyers to enhance the profession by sharing their knowledge and skills. Through volunteer work with a community organization, young lawyers can build their resumes and their network of contacts, while gaining a sense of personal fulfilment at the same time. Have you ever asked yourself:

  • How can I best channel my skills outside the courtroom?
  • Is it possible to pursue my interests while giving back to the community at the same time?
  • Where do I find organizations that are aligned with my values?
  • Should I volunteer to sit as a member of a board of directors?

Join our panel of legal altruists as they share how they turned their passions into meaningful community engagement.
