SOGIC: Queer at the Bar: Explorations of Queer Identity while Practicing in Saskatchewan
Please note: This meeting is In-Person in Regina
The newly renamed Sexual and Gender Diversity Alliance (SAGDA) section invites you to our first in-person session to discuss the queer lawyer experience in Saskatchewan. This informal panel discussion will invite other guests to share their thoughts and experiences while holding space for the opportunity to meet other members of the bar in an atmosphere we have not been able to curate due to COVID-19 restrictions. While we recognize that each individual’s experience is unique, we hope to be able to show that when times are hard, you are not alone and create a community space to discuss solutions to problems that our members may be facing. Of course, it’s not all about the hard times—we hope to also foster discussion of the benefits of practicing while Queer and the important perspectives that we bring to the bar.
