Lawyers often play an important role by serving on boards or committees engaged with entities and the community. For young lawyers this can be very rewarding. However, the question of what a lawyer’s role is and how they can appropriately engage when undertaking these endeavours, can be remain a bit of a question mark. We are very excited to have an in depth discussion with Erin Kleisinger, K.C. (Partner at McDougall Gauley LLP) and Ahmed Malik (Partner at MLT Aikins LLP), and get their insights on joining boards and engagement in the community.
