Please join us on September 20th and 21st in Gatineau, Quebec for Canada’s premier competition law event, the Canadian Bar Association’s 2012 Annual Fall Competition Law Conference.
Competition law enforcement is now a regular feature of the Canadian business landscape and competition lawyers require, now more than ever, a comprehensive understanding of recent developments, including in-depth analysis of current cases and enforcement practices. In addition to a variety of informative and engaging sessions aimed at specialist practitioners, in-house counsel and Competition Bureau staff, the conference will feature a keynote luncheon address by the Commissioner of Competition, Melanie L. Aitken. Thursday’s dinner speaker will be Kurt Eichenwald, author of The Informant, Conspiracy of Fools and a new book, 500 Days, to be released shortly before the conference, which recounts the first 500 days after 9/11.
We look forward to seeing you in September – you don’t want to miss it!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Antitrust, competition, commercial, corporate, advertising and marketing, telecommunications and international trade lawyers in private practice, civil and criminal litigators, in-house counsel, economists, enforcement officials, academics and business persons with an interest in competition law and policy.
