Municipal and Planning Law: Creating and Managing Successful Relationships in Law

Mar. 30, 2021

OBA Municipal Law PROGRAM | 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM (ET)

A year into the pandemic, work from home has taken away countless informal peer mentorship opportunities, preventing many of us from informally learning from one another’s successes and failures as we might ordinarily at an industry dinner or CPD event. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to build new connections and gain insight from your colleagues’ recent experiences in the municipal and planning bar. Following a panel discussion that looks at the important role mentorship and reverse mentorship play in combatting discrimination and fostering a welcoming professional bar, participate in interactive roundtable sessions to discuss how to create and manage successful relationships in law. Discussion topics will include how to engage in formal and informal mentorship opportunities, addressing discrimination in the legal relationship, building relationships in a work-from-home-environment, and navigating ethical issues.
