Synopsis

On February 27, 2019, the Canadian Centre for Elder Law and the Alzheimer Society of B.C launched a report on health care decision-making for people living with dementia in BC. Conversations about Care includes 34 recommendations that address law reform, access to justice and legal aid, public and health care professional legal education, and systemic barriers to informed consent. In addition to the law reform report the public can download a 12-page, plain language version of the report.
