RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN US SECURITIES LAW

Synopsis
Chris Doerksen and Kimberley Anderson of Dorsey & Whitney LLP will discuss recent developments in US securities law, including:

• SEC’s final rules on mining disclosure, which will replace SEC Guide 7 and NI 43-101 in any SEC filings on Forms 20-F, F-1, F-3, F-4 or 1-A following effectiveness of the rules in 2021;

• Recent experiences with northbound RTOs; and

• Other US securities law developments over the last year.
