Synopsis
Please join us for this Wills & Trusts - Okanagan Section meeting during which, Nicole Watson of KPMG will provide a high level discussion of when the principal residence exemption can be claimed on individually owned properties, as well as properties owned by various types of trusts – Estates, family trusts, lifetime personal trusts, testamentary trusts and bare trusts.  Nicole will also discuss the reporting requirements and some differences in the principal residence exemption for income tax and the new speculation tax.

The View Room will open at 5:30 and dinner will be served at 6:00.
