TOPIC: Social Impact Bonds in Manitoba
SPEAKERS: Sandra Hodzic, Social Finance Lead – Manitoba Department of Families 
Jay Rodgers, Deputy Minister – Manitoba Department of Families

In January 2019, the Manitoba government announced its first social impact bond (“SIB”).  SIBs are an innovative tool for funding social services.  At this session, we will hear from Sandra Hodzic, who has been leading the provincial SIB strategy in Manitoba, along with Deputy Minister Jay Rodgers.

Attendance at this MBA Section meeting can be applied towards your Law Society of Manitoba's Continuing Professional Development requirement for a maximum of 1.5 hours.
