Sundeep Dhaliwal
Sundeep Kaur Dhaliwal is a seasoned lawyer and managing partner with 25 years of experience in private practice. After completing her articles with Harris & Company, she entered practice with her husband, Jaspreet Singh Malik, and together they founded their boutique law firm in 2002. Since its inception, the firm has grown into a successful small practice grounded in strong systems, trusted relationships, and long-term client service.
As a Managing Partner, Sundeep Kaur leads the firm’s operational, administrative, and people-management functions. While Jaspreet Singh Malik, a Bencher with the Law Society, focuses on litigation: Sundeep oversees file management, human resources, and office operations. This role places her at the centre of firm sustainability, staff development, and the day-to-day decisions that shape small-firm success.
Alongside her legal career, Sundeep Kaur has raised three children and remained deeply committed to community leadership. She volunteers annually as a Camp Director at Khalsa Centre, where she leads leadership development programs, family retreats, youth camps, and addiction recovery initiatives. She also serves on the Board of the West Coast Sikh Youth Alliance, the longest-standing Sikh youth camp organization in British Columbia.
In addition to her legal and volunteer work, Sundeep Kaur manages the largest private school bus fleet in British Columbia, directly supervising approximately 65 employees. Her breadth of hands-on experience across law, operations, and community leadership gives her a practical, grounded perspective on leadership, human resources, and organizational governance while navigating growth, people management, and long-term sustainability.
Sarah Banner
Sarah Banner is a seasoned HR leader with two decades of professional experience. Sarah graduated from Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business and is a Chartered Professional of Human Resources. Sarah worked as an HR Generalist with Industrial Alliance and Rocky Mountaineer before joining Coca-Cola. There, she received advanced training and a change management certification while working in their HR department and Business Transformation Office. Sarah went on to hold senior positions at MDA, DNEG, and Thinkific where she led teams and oversaw large-scale change initiatives. In 2025, Sarah founded Banner HR Consulting to help more organizations - of all sizes, across any industry - benefit from world-class HR solutions. Banner HR Consulting delivers everything from streamlined HR operations to complex change management and technical HR projects with consultants that bring strong business and commercial acumen, not HR in a silo or pulled from a playbook.
Sarah lives in Chilliwack with her husband and two children and is an active member of the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce. Sarah is also a volunteer Head of HR with tech start-up, swyvl (swyl.org), an extended reality and immersive learning platform focused on neurodiversity education.
