The panelists will explore various success strategies to incorporate mindfulness into the practice of law, such as how embracing mindfulness can lead to more competent lawyers and fulfilled individuals. Nathalie Martin is the author of “Lawyering from the Inside Out” and teaches at the University of New Mexico Law School. Heather Cross teaches a Mindfulness course at the University of Ottawa and is also a yoga instructor. Joleen Dable is the Registrar of Complaints at the Law Society of New Brunswick and will speak on strategies to avoid complaints and how mindfulness is an important tool to reach success in the profession. The session will be chaired by Professor Basil Alexander, who teaches at the University of New Brunswick in the field of ethics.
