The “Great Resignation”, real or imagined; What causes employees to resign; Constructive Dismissal: reality versus opinions issued by “armchair lawyers”; Key considerations in resignations, including Employment Insurance qualification, restrictive covenants, mitigation, enforceability, and implied contractual terms; and Negotiating a contract with a new employer: steel traps and psychological barriers.
