OBA Adminstrative Law PROGRAM | 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (ET)
The pandemic has changed how adjudicators and regulators conduct administrative hearings. Two years in, practitioners continue to adapt to new platforms and technologies, all while determining how best to serve their clients, including disadvantaged and vulnerable persons. What are some of the challenges that arise with videoconference and teleconference platforms? How can you successfully utilize different platforms to effectively advocate for clients? Join our panel of adjudicators and practitioners for lessons drawn from two years of remote advocacy, as well as learn new strategies for putting the best case forward. Also gain insight on how to present arguments that will increase the likelihood of having a useful and engaging dialogue with decision-makers.
