OBA Alternative Dispute Resolution / Young Lawyers Division PROGRAM
1:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Join us for a comprehensive examination of how to best represent your client at mediation. Mediation is a key step that gives parties the opportunity to resolve complex disputes without litigation. The process and outcome of your mediation will be determined by your skill and level of preparedness. At this program, our exceptional faculty will share keen insights honed over years of experience as both counsel and mediators. You will be guided through the entire mediation process, from selecting a mediator, to preparing yourself and your client, through mastering the mediation and taking the appropriate steps in finalizing a settlement agreement. The program will end with a networking session, where participants will have the opportunity to connect, in-person or virtually, with experienced mediators and counsel. Don’t miss out on this highly practical and thorough program!
