Course Details:

We’ve all been told that working parents, including lawyers, are able to do and have it all. But what does “all” really mean? The CBABC and the Vancouver Bar Association are bringing together three Vancouver lawyers from a variety of legal and personal backgrounds to discuss this very issue, and their own experiences in balancing parenting, the practice of law, and everything in between. The panellists will discuss topics such as how to tell your firm and clients that you’re expecting, making the decision about how and when to take parental leave, how to maintain high levels of client service while also being available at home, and the unexpected challenges of balancing the practice of law with being a parent.

Ask your Questions in Advance!
To ensure our panellists discuss topics that are of interest to CBA members, those interested in attending the panel should contact Cheryl D'sa at csd@narwallit.com to share any questions or concerns in advance. As we appreciate that these topics can be sensitive to discuss within the workplace, questions will be posed to the panel anonymously.
