Health and Wellness Issues Impacting the Legal Profession in Canada (Recording)

Jan. 10, 2013
Online

Presented live via webconference by the Legal Profession Assistance Conference (LPAC) of the Canadian Bar Association

The Legal Profession Assistance Conference (LPAC) of the Canadian Bar Association retained the services of Ipsos Reid, an independent third party research firm, to conduct a broad survey on health and wellness issues impacting the Canadian legal profession. The purpose of the survey was to get a better understanding of health and wellness issues in the profession, determine the perceived and actual prevalence of health and wellness issues among those in the legal profession, determine attitudes and behaviours in dealing with such issues, and gauge awareness of our programs and services.

During this webinar, Will Daley and Angela Muma, the two researchers from Ipsos Reid who conducted the survey, will present the findings of the survey and make recommendations.  You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.  In the weeks following the presentation, the LPAC Executive and Board of Directors will be meeting to discuss the next steps arising from the survey.

All participants will be sent a copy of a PowerPoint presentation a few days prior to the presentation.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Robyn Lalonde at robynl@cba.org or (800) 267-8860, ext. 132.
