This Brown Bag will provide insights and analysis in terms of what the SCC decision in Ahluwalia v. Ahluwalia means for family violence cases in Canada. The presentation will include a discussion on whether tort law or remedies in this area have changed, and if so, how tort law and remedies for family violence cases can be shaped or changed in the future.
