Topic: “Post C-69: a check in on the new Canada Energy Regulator and Impact Assessment Agency”

This presentation will highlight key changes to these federal agencies and include a discussion on how those changes are being felt by key stakeholders. We are lucky to have Alex Ross, a member of the CER executive team, with us to share his insights regarding important changes at the CER. We are also lucky to have Laurie Smith, Q.C. and Sean Assie of Bennett Jones LLP joining us and focusing on changes to federal impact assessment and explaining some of the practical implications being experienced by proponents and others involved in the process. These presenters are supportive of an engaging and interactive session, so please bring your questions!
