The Intersection of Business Law & Estate Planning
Presented by the CBA Alberta Business Law Section
On Demand. Originally presented on May 27.
While many business lawyers also do some estate planning, this is often with the view of business succession and may miss out on some of the fundamental basics needed following the mantra of “plan for the worst, hope for the best”. This presentation will outline the basics of estate planning and then look at some specific scenarios where business law clients and files can benefit from proper planning when personal matters take a turn in the wrong direction.
