Exemptions, what counts, what doesn’t, and what about those tricky situations in between? This session will provide practical insights to help you navigate exemptions. You will be walked through the nuances and common grey areas, including:

• Damages:  income replacement vs. pain and suffering
• Debt repayment:  credit card vs. mortgage (including Rosin)
• Property “brought into the family”: down payment vs. kitchen renovation
• Security for a joint loan
