Presented by the CBA Alberta CBA In-House Lawyers (South) Section
A discussion exploring a range of common but often overlooked issues that arise in corporate and commercial transactions. Topics may include the tax implications of asset versus share purchases, unintended GST/HST consequences, navigating cross-border tax rules, managing the treatment of transaction costs, and preparing documentation that will pass CRA audit scrutiny. The Section meeting is intended help participants better identify, mitigate, and plan for tax risks throughout the transaction lifecycle.
