Leveraging AI in Commercial Real Estate Practice

Presented by the CBA Alberta Commercial Property & Leasing Law (Provincial) Section

Join the Commercial Property & Leasing Section for an interactive round-table discussion on how lawyers are leveraging artificial intelligence in their commercial real estate practices. Rather than a traditional lecture, presenters will screen share live demonstrations, and attendees are encouraged to join the conversation, ask questions and share their own experiences. Tre Ross of Dentons Canada LLP will open the session with a short introductory presentation and then demonstrate how agentic AI can be used to prepare first drafts of the ancillary documents to a purchase and sale agreement. The discussion will also cover practical tips on personalizing AI tools, building and implementing agents, crafting effective prompts and, just as importantly, what doesn’t work. Whether you are just starting to explore AI or are already using it in your day-to-day practice, this session offers practical, real-world insights from practitioners who are putting these tools to work on commercial real estate files.
