The Lifecycle of a Claim – Considerations from Contract Drafting through Dispute Resolution

During this session, Revay will walk participants through the lifecycle of a construction claim, showing how issues often start with contract drafting, grow during project delivery, and surface as disputes at the end of a project. The presentation will illustrate how unclear contracts, and issues with project management and contract administration, create challenges that complicate claims and disputes. It will conclude by explaining how delay and damages experts must look back and rely on the contracts and records that exist, and how early decisions directly affect entitlement, credibility, and the resolution of disputes.
