Building Projects in Partnership with Indigenous Communities

This session will explore the key Indigenous legal and engagement matters considerations that arise throughout the lifecycle of major construction projects. Participants will gain practical insights into the Crown’s duty to consult, Indigenous rights and interests, project approvals, and engagement strategies that help reduce legal and regulatory risks for all parties. The discussion will focus on emerging trends, recent developments, and best practices for successfully advancing construction projects in partnership with Indigenous communities.
