ARLO for Litigators: Changes to Alberta’s Land Titles Office Online Registration Process
Presented by the CBA Alberta Creditor & Debtor Law and Civil Litigation (North) Sections
On Demand. Originally presented on Nov. 4, 2026.
Alberta’s land titles system is modernizing, and the process to register documents at Land Titles will soon be undergoing significant changes. Join Witten LLP partner Sharon Ohayon as she guides us through some of the changes announced to date, why they’ve come about, the future deactivation of SPIN II, and the expected impact on your practice. Sharon will focus on need-to-know information for litigators specifically, including registration of foreclosure orders, writs of enforcement and caveats, as well as how to pull copies of title and an overview of proposed fee changes.
