Did you know that the CBA is a powerful voice for criminal legislative reform and policy development at a national level? Melanie Webb is a Toronto defence lawyer and current Chair of the CBA National Criminal Justice Section. She will discuss the Criminal Justice Section's recent advocacy efforts relating to Bills C-14, C-16, and S-205, and how this type of advocacy helps to shape the criminal law.
