Meeting with Children-Tips and Techniques for Children's Counsel
Presented by the CBA Alberta Child & Youth Law (North) Section
This session will provide practice tips on how to build a rapport with child clients. We will explore how to get children to open up to share their lived experiences and views and prefernces so children's voices can be heard and considered by the Court in making difficult decisions in high conflict parenting cases.
PRESENTERS
Jeffrey Keller (Resolution Counsel Court of King's Bench)
Andrea G. Doyle, KC (Senior Advisory Council, Family Legal Aid Alberta)
