Mandatory Litigation Plans in Civil (Non Family) Cases NPP#2024-02

Presented by the CBA Alberta Insurance Law (South) Section

On Demand. Originally presented on Feb. 19, 2026.

As of September 1, 2025, mandatory litigation plans must be filed for non-family civil actions commenced subsequent to that date. This is a significant change to the practice of civil litigators. Join us on February 19, 2026, to hear Justice Darren Reed/Justice Michael Marion, discuss this new addition to civil procedure of litigated claims.
