Navigating Fraud in Insolvency Proceedings – Issues and Strategies

Presented by the CBA Alberta Insolvency Law (South) Section

Join us for a discussion on navigating and managing fraud in insolvency proceedings. This Section meeting will include a look into lifting a stay of proceedings, the effects of a declaration of fraud, piercing the corporate veil and enforcement of a fraud judgement. Featuring Keely Cameron, Kourtney Rylands and James Reid, this Section meeting will offer practitioner perspectives on navigating fraud and provide strategies to assist counsel dealing with allegations of fraud or obtaining judgments in fraud, and subsequent enforcement steps.
