Energy Security: A European Perspective

Amidst the unprecedented oil disruption resulting from the spiralling war in Iran, we will look at how the European Union has approached the topic of energy security and what the implications are of the EU’s energy policy for Alberta, Western Canada and Canada more generally. Dr. Leigh Hancher and Dr. Rudiger Tscherning will unpack the energy security debate within the context of natural gas, hydrogen, critical minerals and nuclear fuel security and explore how Canada and the EU can better align on these matters.
