Presented by the CBA Alberta Real Property Law - Residential (South) Section
The AREA contract requires all improvements on a property to comply with any restrictive covenant on title. Discussion will include:
- History of Covenants and their purpose.
- Valid vs. invalid covenants.
- Closing concerns when faced with non-compliance of a covenant.
- The process for removing/amending a covenant.
