It’s back! Welcome to the second annual View from the Bench, featuring 5 members of Alberta’s Court of Queen’s Bench discussing more issues you told us you want to hear about.  Just like last year, the judicial panel will offer up valuable insights and suggestions for improvement in the court room.  With a focus on the role of lawyers as problem solvers, topics will include these and more:

  • On morning chambers.  Ensure your chambers application is complete and runs smoothly.
  • Judicial ADR and case management.  Get the most out of these tools.
  • Courtoom etiquette.  Be part of the solution.
  • Dealing with self-represented and vexatious litigants. Get some best practice pointers.
  • Affidavits.  Avoid some common mistakes.

There will be time for questions of our panelists after their presentation, so please bring your questions and take advantage of this opportunity to get a broad View from the Bench!
